The April 2010 AIHA/IMHA Success Story is now up at the Meisha’s Hope AIHA/IMHA Web site. This story features Keiko a sweet little gal who is now doing very well. Keiko’s owner/caregiver Jessie, posts on this site.

May Keiko’s story and all the Success Stories provide HOPE and encouragement to those of you with newly diagnosed AIHA/IMHA dogs as well as to those of you who have dogs who are continuing to struggle with the disease.

Hugs to all the canine kids from my canine gal, Maggie, AKA the Magpie and me.

Keiko and I thank you for the good wishes ;) I am so happy that Keiko is doing well and pray for all the dogs with IMHA. Keep on fighting and keep on asking questions and advocating for your dog! I never stopped and still question the vet when Keiko goes in for a check. We are well aware that Keiko could replapse at any time and think we are prepared for that possibilty. We try to take her success just one day at a time, kind of the reverse of when she was so sick when we took those dark days one at a time...

We hope all the dogs and families fighting this horrible disease have their own successes and I will continue to keep you all in my prayers! For those that have lost their beloved pets, I am so sorry ((hugs))
