| Greetings to all, Just a quick note to mention that the April, 2008 AIHA/IMHA Success Story is now up at the Meisha’s Hope Web site. This month’s story is about Newman who is proof that not only can dogs survive AIHA/IMHA they can go back to doing everything they did prior to their illness, as evidenced by Newman’s agility accomplishments. Louise, Newman’s owner/caregiver, does post on this forum from time to time when she is not too busy with Newman’s agility and other sports activities. I truly love the photo Louise sent to go with Newman’s story. So if you need evidence that dogs CAN and DO survive AIHA/IMHA and go on to live the life they did prior to their illness click on this URL: http://www.cloudnet.com/~jdickson/successstories.htm and read Newman’s most inspiring Success Story. Hugs to all the canine kids from me and my little canine red-headed gal, Maddie. |

| Thank you for posting Newman's story. My Jack Russell, Toby was diagnosed 2 weeks ago with AIHA. Reading the post was very helpful to me during a very scary and sad time. Right now Toby is home and is on prednisone and amoxicillin. He has spurts of energy but we keep him quiet as much as possible. I really appreciate this site too! |
