Canine Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia (AIHA & IMHA) - amy ,more improvement

well last week amy's pcv was 35 so vet reduced her pred x 25% so we expected not much improvement this week, but hey,it was 40 today.not counting our chickens yet though.it just shows what a rollercoaster this is.
we are constantly checking her eyes for yellowing.always on our guard, expecting a crash.i expect this is normal,or are we just paranoid?
best wishes.john&amy.

John,
awesome news! Congratulations, your Amy is at the lower end of normal. Starting to get paranoid IS normal. But it will get easier with time. I am sure Amy starts to feel better with the reduction.

I too was wondering how Amy was doing. Congrats on getting great results.
She's truly a fighter and she's really lucky to have you there for you.
Keep up the good work and keep us posted.

Continued prayers and Thoughts for Amy.

John and family,
That is wonderful news! Unfortunately paranoia will always be with you now even if you have other dogs. I am not saying you will always have it at the forefront but dealing with AIHA you become more aware of things.
Amy you are awesome!

Great news John and Amy!
It is totally normal to be paranoid. It never truly goes away but does get easier over time.

I believe having an IMHA dog is a life changing experience. It has definitely made Millie and I closer.

Good luck,
