Glad to hear that Amy is doing well and off pred!! Bummer on the liver damage, sounds like you are doing what you can to manage that. I'm glad she seems healthy and happy!

Sorry to hear about the liver damage John. You'd be surprised how regenerative the liver is. Keep your eyes on the numbers and with time they may just improve!

Hey though...a PCV of 50% and Amy showing she's a picture of health is such a good thing. Like you said...try not to worry and cherish and celebrate the success's you both are having.

John,

Like Johnny, I was under the impression that the liver is very capable of repairing itself. So don't stop doing what you are doing. Concentrate on Amy's fantastic PCV and the way she is happy and enjoying life! Congratulations to both you and Amy!

Dear John and Amy,

Congratulations on being off the Pred! PCV of 50 is AMAZING - you have both done so well!

Like Johnny and Brigitte said, the liver is an amazing organ with incredible powers of healing. Give it some more time, and hopefully you will see some improvement.

All the very best to Amy for continued good health.
It is so exciting to hear of more survivors!
