Canine Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia (AIHA & IMHA) - Adoption update

Well, thanks to all your support and encouragement, I am planning to adopt the two Great Pyranees, Sweetheart and Frankie the end of Nov. My back surgery is Nov 5, so I should be recovered and ready to be a new mom by then.

I still have a few nagging doubts, but the big picture is one of happy expectation. Brandy will always be "my best girl" and this is actually helping me remember the good times.

God Bless
sharon, and angel brandy

congratulations sharon! i think that this will help
your heart heal, and as we've all said, brandy would be so proud that her mom is rescuing to dogs in need! best of luck with the surgery, and be sure to post
some pics when your adoption is final.

Sharon,

It's wonderful that you're adopting the two Great Pyrenes. I have been wanting to adopt one to add to our pasture of cows and goats, since the working ones are used in herding and guarding livestock. They are beautiful dogs, highly intelligent, loyal and devoted, and they love children. An added plus is that they require only moderate exercise and grooming.

Brandy will always have that special place in your heart, but, thankfully your heart has expanded to make room for these two. Please keep us updated and post pictures if you have that capability.

Best wishes,

Karen

Sharon,
Good luck with your surgery and what a great thanksgiving you have lined up for 2 sweet dogs. I think there is no greater gift than being able to save the ones that have not known the love that they should have.
