Canine Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia (AIHA & IMHA) - Abby: 8 yr old American Eskimo - Update
| Hello, It's been a quite a ride. Earlier last week, our vet was concerned that Abby had PRCA. Thankfully, she had enough reticulocytes to rule that out. She's had one transfusion. She is on dexamethasone and cyclosporine. Her PCV today was 28 (up from 25 on Sat). Hopefully, she continues to improve. The vet wants to start tapering the desamethasone because her AST and ALT were elevated. Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers. Km |

| So sorry to hear Abby has been diagnosed with this dreaded disease. My Casper is also an Eskie suffering from this. We are sending prayers and good thoughts your way. |
