For those of you who do not know me my name is Cheryl and I lost my beloved Barkley, my special rescued Tibetan Terrier, to the terror of IMHA in August 2008 after an incredible battle. He taught me about love at all costs and courage in the face of all odds...my life changed the day he came into it...and changed again forever the day his physical being left it...He was and still is my little soft-furred hero. I haven't posted for a while but I found an deeply touching video on YouTube that just brought me to my emotional knees as I watched and it and traveled through the wonderful and the wrenchingly painful memories we shared...and I wanted to share the link with all of you, as I am sure it would equally touch all of your hearts as you journey...and have journeyed..and, for some, have shared a journey's end with your equally precious companions. You will need to have sound capability to truly experience this video...but do whatever you must to be able to do so...it will, like your special ones...not leave you the same... Type YouTube - The Fox & The Hound//"For Good"//Wicked The Musical as your search topic and then open the link. It is 4 min 33 seconds long and was created in September 2007... With loving thoughts to all of you, Cheryl (and always Barkley)

Dear Cheryl It was good to see a post form you, as I have wondered so many times how you are doing. I hope time has lessened your pain of loosing your precious Barclay and perhaps your tears have turned into smiles of the happy memories you had with him. I know his fighting spirit will live in your heat forever. We think of you often and admire your courage. Cheryl & Ginger

Hello Cheryl, I too lost my Brandy in August 08 and have recently been missing her terribly. Although our lives have been hectic and enriched with two Great Pyrenees resuce dogs, Brandy has been on my mind this past week. I still read here several times a week but it has been too painful to write. You have inspired me. My heart goes out to all those still fighting and those who have lost their furbabies. I pray for strength to them and Joanne to keep up the fight to bring awareness to this terrible disease. Cheryl and Ginger.......nice to see your names here too! I will look at the video as soon as I get time. thanks. Love to all, Sharon and angel Brandy
