Thanks for everything. It has been 1 year since I lost Tasha to IMHA. Continuining the fight for a cure is the best way that I know to keep her spirit alive. Penny, how do you like the book Steve

I finished the book on the plane ride home. It was sad but still uplifting. For everyone else that has no idea what we are talking about http://www.garthstein.com/racing/ MAF had copies that they were having drivers at the Laguna Seca race autograph so they could auction them off. I made a donation to Meisha's Hope and got a copy. So 2 +'s there. Good book and money for research.

Just wanted to let everyone that the Mutt Strutt and 5k were a huge success this morning. We had atleast double the runners and walkers from last year. We even had 2 IMHA survivors come and support the racers. Had tons of fun and can't wait for the 3rd annual next year. Steve

That is terrific news and Ginger and I hope to be one of the strutters next year. Can you please tell us the time the race begins so we can track it on the live timing. Good Luck, Cheryl & Ginger

Steve, Glad it was such a success. Great that there were a couple of dogs there that have survived AIHA! Looking forward to "watching" the race on live timing tomorrow. Just watched the Laguna-Seca race yesterday. Ouch! That had to be an e-ticket ride for Peter. Thank you again for all your efforts! Penny

What great news about this years Mutt Strut and 5K run. A big THANK You to Steve and his team for sponsoring these events that benefit the Meisha's Hope AIHA/IMHA Fund #338 at Morris Animal Foundation. One of the IMHA survivors who was in today's Mutt Strut is Piper the March 2008 Success Story at the Meisha's Hope Web site. This URL will take you to the page that contains Piper's Success Story: http://www.cloudnet.com/~jdickson/archives20.htm Scroll down to the March story. Zsusza (Piper's owner/caregiver) posted some photos of today's Mutt Strut online. You can view them at this URL: http://www.flickr.com/photos/pipersmyspaniel/ These photos are proof that not only can dogs survive AIHA/IMHA but they can go on to live happy healthy lives.
