Hooray for Henri! Raise a glass, grab a cupcake....give all your furkids special treats....we are celebrating Henri's 1-year anniversary! The best part of this year was that Henri had the chance to grow up and celebrate his 1st birthday. Cheers, Ella Henri, West Highland White Terrier, 16-months old, diagnosed 02/25/09 with vaccine-induced IMAH, medications include: 5mg/EOD Azathioprine and Benedryl.

Hi Ella, Congratulations to you and Henri!!! What wonderful news.....you mentioned you feel Henri's AIHA is vaccine-induced...I'm curious if your Vet said that or your opinion? I also feel my Codys AIHA came from vaccines and Rabies shot, because of the timing, and the Vet said he can never have another vaccine again...and he's only 2 yrs. old....keep up the good work!!!! Thanks Everyone!! We, also, got good news from Dr Dodds....Henri's vaccine titer testing showed he has adequate immunity to distemper and parvo (his puppy shots that he received before he got sick provide enough immunity). The rabies is still pending. Dr Dodds thinks he will be fine for life. It is a relief that we only have to worry about the IMHA. We are, over the moon, about his titer results! Another thing to celebrate..... Hooray for Henri!! Ella
