Canine Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia (AIHA & IMHA) - 1 year anniversary

It has been 1 year today since my darling girl Holly left me for rainbow bridge, I now have a new baby Honey who has opened my heart in so many ways I adore her and so does her Daddy. I just wanted to say thank you to all of you who gave me support in those darkest days last year, and to ask for you to remember my darling girl Holly who I lost to this dreadful diseasein your thoughts today.

Thank you all
God Bless

(((Diane))) I'm so sorry. I can only imagine how hard this is for you! I reached 6 months last week for Sadies passing and it was awefull! I took comfort in knowing that she's pain free now and likely surrounded by many new friends while she's watching over me! I know the same is true for Holly and she's with you all the time.

Dear Diane,
It is never easy to loose our beloved dogs, but loosing them to this disease is brutal. Of course I don't know exactly how you fee, but I have a pretty good idea. I lost my Standard Poodle Kahlu a year ago last month. Like you say, having an other dog helps a lot. But after this ordeal we will never be the same, some sort of paranoia will always stay with us. I know that all the good memories you have of Holly will make you smile many times and she will always have a special place in your heart.
Best wishes,

Diane,
I am glad you have a new little girl in your life. I am sure that Holly is happy too. They know that the love you showed them is well spent. Holly has a bunch of really great dogs to play with until you meet again.
Thoughts and prayers for Holly.

Hi Diane,
I remember reading about Holly last year when we were going through battles, thankfully we got through it but it doesn't mean I don't think about those who have lost. I am sure Holly is looking down on you and moved that you remember her so fondly.
I truly cannot imagine life without Archie and it must have been a tough year. How lucky Holly was though to have such wonderful family in the short time she was around.
